Hi, I'm Lulù Withheld, a visual artist currently based in Italy, by the sea.

I studied art at the end of the 90s and early 2000s.
Then after dropping out of the university I started traveling the world in search for myself and my “inner demons”. I shot a considerable amount of videos and partnered up in some exhibitions, I wrote down my stories for the world to see and brought to life some installation art and performances.
Ultimately I went back to my roots, my first love, photography.
Ho compiuto studi artistici alla fine degli anni ’90, a cavallo del millenium bug.
Poi, dopo avere abbandonato la facoltà di architettura, ho iniziato a viaggiare per il mondo in cerca di me stessa, e dei miei fantasmi (interiori). Ho girato una quantità considerevole (nonché effimera) di video, ho partecipato a qualche mostra (collettiva), ho raccontato le mie storie (in forma scritta), ho dato vita ad alcune performance e installazioni.
E infine sono tornata al punto di partenza, alla fotografia Il primo grande amore della mia vita.
