Qualche mese fa, cercando di liberare gli hard disk (che ormai è come fare un trasloco ogni volta) sono inciampata nel backup di Léon was here.
Dentro c’era un’enorme cartella, grande come la stanza della mia adolescenza, piena di foto e documenti. 

Non ho resistito, e ho sbirciato.
C’erano file di note e appunti, stralci del diario di Anne, scansioni, mp3, estratti di script e foto, una marea di foto. 
Dopodiché ho cominciato a piazzare tutto in terra e a camminarci intorno e a spostare le foto e a farle incontrare con alcune parole - tenendo in cuffia a un volume esagerato Losing Today degli Slowdive - ed è così che ne ho fatto una piccola “zine”, un omaggio a “quel” lavoro personalissimo e incompleto che è stato Léon was here.

A few months ago, while trying to free up some hard drives (which by now feels like moving house every time), I stumbled upon the backup of León was here.

There was a folder inside that was as big as my teenage bedroom and had photos and documents inside it.

I couldn't hold off and took a look.

There were files of notes and sketches, excerpts from Anne's diary, scans, MP3s, script excerpts, and tons of photos.

After that, I started to lay everything on the floor, walk around it, move the photos, and match them with certain words – whilst listening to Slowdive's 'Losing Today' through my headphones - and that's how I ended up making a small 'zine', a tribute to the very personal and unfinished project that "Leon was here".
